The Teacher:  Arjia Rinpoche, Director of the Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center in Bloomington, Indiana (www.tmbcc.org) is the former Abbot of Kumbum Monastery in Eastern Tibet, and author of “Surviving the Dragon: A Tibetan Lama’s Account of 40 years of Chinese Rule.”

Rinpoche’s warm and open style provides a rich opportunity for connection for the beginner and for more advanced students.

Please join Paleaku Gardens in welcoming Rinpoche, and his students from around the globe, for his first teachings offered in Hawaii.

Tara Retreat:  This is a traditional Tibetan Buddhist retreat which will include sitting and walking meditation, Mantra recitation, Sadana explanations and the oral transmission to practice the text.  Tara, who attained enlightenment maintaining a female form, encompasses the wisdom and compassion of all the Buddhas. These practices are powerful ways to connect with our own innate loving kindness and increases our skillful means for removing and transforming obstacles in our daily lives.
