Flow Yoga classes are playful and non-dogmatic, focusing on precision and alignment while moving fluidly in synchronicity with one’s breath. All experience levels are welcome and students are always encouraged to modify the practice as needed.
Hooda has been a lifelong yoga enthusiast, teaching to a range of audiences since 1998. With a background in psychology and counseling she has seen how body awareness and focusing on breath can enhance one’s perspective and sense of well-being. She is committed to helping others find the presence, strength, and joy that yoga and mindfulness can provide.
Hooda’s enthusiasm and passion for yoga are apparent in her teaching. Inspired by teachers of the Ashtanga, Iyengar and Flow systems, Hooda integrates form and fluidity in her teaching. She believes in meeting the students where they are at, enhancing mindfulness through many modalities, and adjusting to make practice accessible to everyone. Her classes are non-dogmatic and playful, providing a challenging and compassionate space in which to explore one’s potentials. E-RYT 500, H.BA Psych.

Past EventsKindness and compassion are basic innate human qualities; however they are not always easy to embody in the midst of the stress and demands of daily life. This is especially true for those of us in care giving roles. The good news, compassion is trainable. Simple practices can put us in touch with our innate compassion and help us cultivate compassion for ourselves and those around us—at home, at work and in every aspect of our lives.
In this weekend intensive, you will be offered practices that tap your capacity to cultivate compassion, inquire into what blocks its expression and learn processes to open your body, mind and heart to the possibility of choosing compassion — as a response to life’s challenges.
