Botanical Gardens at Paleaku

Aloha and Welcome to Paleaku Gardens Peace Sanctuary
Beautiful Botanical Gardens on the Big Island of Hawaii

Meander through seven acres of a tropical botanical paradise nestled within the heart of South Kona with expansive views overlooking Kealakekua Bay and the National Park "Place of Refuge". Our mission is to offer a sanctuary for the advancement of individuals toward peace and harmony. See an aerial view of Paleaku.

The Garden invites individuals and groups to experience the peaceful beauty of this unique botanical setting. Visit greenhouses that display an array of tropical plants and orchids. Walk paths that weave through beautiful vistas and private sitting spaces.

Explore the World's first galaxy garden. View ancient Hawaiian petroglyphs and Tibetan Sand Paintings. Walk a Labyrinth and a native American Medicine wheel. Macadamia nut orchards, mango groves, a variety of fruit trees with mature Palms shade the garden making a pleasant walking tour amongst the monuments and statuary that grace the Gardens. A small admission fee is charged.

You will be delighted by the addition of our souvenir area filled by our local artist & farmers with crafts including cards, giclee's, pottery, coffee, macadamia nuts and more. A bamboo & palm nursery with garden statuary is now open.

Our facilities are an ideal venue for events and meetings. We offer special packages for weddings and vow renewals.
